Apply Ice Packs: If you experience swelling, redness, or discomfort in the treated area, apply ice packs for 10-15 minutes as needed to ease inflammation.
Stay Hydrated: Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser. This will aid in the healing process and maintain its moisture barrier.
Avoid Tight Clothing: Choose loose-fitting attire to minimise friction and irritation in the treated area for 48-72 hours.
Avoid Heat-Inducing Activities: Avoid activities that generate heat for 48-72 hours or until your skin is no longer sensitive. This includes hot baths, saunas, and intense workouts.
Avoid Strenuous Exercise: Give your body a break and avoid strenuous exercise for at least 48-72 hours after the treatment or until your skin is no longer sensitive.
Avoid Chlorinated Water: Do not swim in chlorinated pools or hot tubs for the next 48-72 hours to prevent potential irritation.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin by avoiding direct sunlight and unprotected UV exposure for at least two weeks after the treatment. If you must be in the sun, wear protective clothing and apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen twice daily.
Keep the Treated Area Clean: Use a mild body wash to cleanse the treated area and keep it free from irritants. Avoid heavily scented products to prevent discomfort.
Hair Removal: Do not shave the treated area for 72 hours post-treatment, and avoid waxing, plucking, or any other hair removal methods that disturb the hair follicles throughout the treatment course.
Makeup and Deodorant: Avoid makeup and deodorant on the treated area for at least 48-72 hours or until the skin is no longer sensitive.
Exfoliation: Start 72 hours after treatment and incorporate gentle exfoliation every second day. Please don't scratch or pick at the treated area.
Do Not Pick: Avoid picking or scratching the treated area to minimise the risk of infection or scarring. This includes pulling hairs from their follicles.
